Nominations for 2010 Australia Day Awards now being sought
The Awards recognise outstanding achievement and service to the
local community during the past year or over a number of
years.
Nominations are sought in the categories of Citizen of the Year;
Young Citizen of the Year; Community Event of the Year; Achievement
and Sports Achievement as well as the Jeff Britten Award for the
Pursuit of Excellence.
Nominees must be Australian citizens and reside in the Eurobodalla
Shire at the time of nomination. Nominees for Young Citizen
of the Year must be under the age of 25 on Australia Day, 26
January 2010.
Nominations close at 4.00pm on Friday 20 November
2009.
