Whether you love organised sport, getting out in nature, or connecting over shared interests, Eurobodalla has plenty to offer. Council supports an active and healthy community with a range of activities and facilities for all age groups, abilities and interests. Use this section of our website to find out about sports clubs and interest groups, facilities and venues, natural and cultural attractions, and creative pursuits. Swimming pools

Our swimming centres at Batemans Bay, Moruya and Narooma are open from mid-September to March. They are managed by Community Aquatics Pty Ltd.



8 popular swimming beaches are patrolled every day during the summer school holidays. Outside the summer holidays, these beaches are patrolled on weekends and public holidays from September to April.


Sports grounds & recreation facilities

Up to date information on public sport and recreation facilities, including hiring community centres and halls, and how you can request improvements to community facilities.

Playground climbing equipment

Parks and playgrounds

Eurobodalla has plenty of parks and public spaces for you to enjoy. Many have public toilets, picnic tables, shelters, barbeques, and play equipment.


Winter/summer sports

Eurobodalla sporting clubs have lots on offer for kids, teen and adults over the summer and winter months.


Recreation and Open Space Strategy

Council's Recreation and Open Space Strategy provides a guide for the planning, development, management and use of recreation facilities and open space in Eurobodalla.


Live Life Eurobodalla

The Live Life program runs and shares information about healthy events and activities going on in Eurobodalla. It is free to join or get your activity on the list.


Eurobodalla Sports Forum

At this quarterly meeting for local sports clubs and groups you can network, find out about grants and training, get updates on council works, and give your feedback about how Council can help your group.


Community activity trailer

Council's Community Activity Trailer is available to book free of charge for community groups, schools and organisations.


Towards a Stronger Healthier Eurobodalla working group
