Reconstruction and shoulder widening of Cullendulla Drive from the Princes Highway to Kettle Road.

The 800m section of Cullendulla Drive now has two 3.5m wide traffic lanes with 2m wide shoulders, providing the community with improved road safety.

Works are complete aside from the second bitumen seal coat which will be applied in April 2019 followed by permanent line-marking.

Both lanes are now open to traffic and the 40km/h speed limit no longer applies.

Culverts were widened and installed followed by road widening and realignment works.

The old road surface was ripped up in October and base gravel was imported.

The road was sealed with the first coat of bitumen in November and swept soon after to remove any loose stones.

Restoration of off-road areas was undertaken with work on batters, table drains and access to properties.

The final touches of this project including installing guide posts and temporary line marking were applied in late November.

This project is funded by the Australian Government Bridges Renewal Program ($202,021), the State Government Restart NSW Program ($668,204) and Council Capital Works Program ($385,400).
