Ro Farrell exhibition | Narooma
When: Monday 5 June 2017 - Every day, until 24th Jun 2017
Where: Narooma Library, Field Street, Narooma
Come and see the exhibition of Ro Farrell, an artist who's work reflects inquisitiveness and curiosity. Ro has been drawing and scribbling since she could hold a crayon. Nothing was sacred, from walls to precious photo albums. Growing up, Ro was equally curious, digging up clay and making "bowls" which were fired with the lamb roast!
Forbidden to do art at school, she studied interior design at RMIT in Melbourne. From architectural drawing, she swapped to textile design and found her medium. Graphic design, life drawing, painting, designing for textiles and embroidery, as well as pottery and sculpture followed.
Ro's art reflects this constant curiosity of using different materials. She loves the freedom to look at anything and wonder what medium it would look best in.
Ro Farrell's exhibition can be viewed during library opening hours.
You can also hear about Ro's journey at her artist floor talk.
