Time: 10am - 5pm

Where: Moruya Library, Vulcan Street, Moruya

Stuart has experimented with many mediums over the years including pen and wash, watercolour, oil on canvas and acrylics. He started working with pastels 20 years ago and found that he was able to immediately render moments of light and colours.

Stuart's work is sometimes non-representational, but is usually born out of an observable moment, feeling or the light.

Some call Stuart an impressionist but he maintains he is merely being truthful and that painting and drawing inform the way that he experiences the world.

Stuart Whitelaw's artwork can also be viewed each Saturday during the exhibition period from 9:30am to 12pm. The library is closed Sunday.

You can also hear about Stuart's journey at his artist floor talk.
