Families Week 2019

National Families' week is an initiative of Families Australia, held every year in May. Over a hundred thousand people across the country get involved in hundreds of community events, in Australia's biggest celebration of families in all of their diversity.

During Families Week 2019 there will be plenty of fun events and activities for Eurobodalla kids and families. Come along, make some new friends and have some fun, while celebrating the vital role that families play.

Family foreshore fun | Moruya:

  • Where: Meet at Riverside Park, Moruya

  • Where: Playmaze, Narooma

  • Where: Meet at Mara Mia Walkway, Batemans Bay

River of Art Kinema Circus:

Roll up to a one-woman matinee circus show the whole family can enjoy. Watch Heidi Hula Hoops perform a spectacular range of tricks in her colourful costumes matched only by her bubbly personality. Watch Heidi spin hula hoops 1, 2, 3, 4 , 5 and keep counting!!

Million Paws Walk | Moruya:

An annual event for dogs and their humans set on the banks of the Moruya River, raising valuable funds for the local RSPCA branch. Choose from a short 1.5 kilometer walk or a longer 3 kilometre walk.

  • Cost: Adults $15, children under 16 $5, pension and concession card holders $10 or family passes $20 (2 adults and 2 kids)

Playgroup at the park | Narooma:

Come along to Rotary Park with a picnic blanket for a free barbecue lunch and make some new friends in your local area. All families welcome and BBQ lunch is provided.
