Community Engagement Framework

Community engagement is an umbrella term that encompasses a spectrum of activities, ranging from everyday informal discussions, contact with stakeholders during service delivery, group discussions or meetings and formal consultation processes, through to Council supporting community members in taking action on issues themselves.

The Eurobodalla Shire Council Community Engagement Framework has been designed as a tool for those at Council who have an interest in and responsibility for coordinating, planning, designing, implementing and evaluating community engagement activities. It provides guidance for the conduct of best practice and includes Council's Community Engagement Charter.
