We've joined forces with Renew Australia to help stimulate commercial activity in our towns.
Our local project is called Renew Eurobodalla and is based on the model pioneered by Renew Newcastle and Renew Australia, aiming to pair creative industries with landlords who have commercial spaces that are temporarily empty.
The project allows local creative producers to try a business idea to help develop it to take on a commercial lease, helps landlords find permanent tenants, and brings vibrancy back to our towns.
Renew Eurobodalla has started placing tenants and there are still plenty of opportunities to get involved.
If you run a creative or home-based business - or you have an idea for one - and you're keen to take up this low cost opportunity to create a gallery, shop, studio or collaborative workspace and see if your business is ready for a commercial lease, then Renew Eurobodalla may have an opportunity for you!
Selected participants will be given temporary rent-free access to retail and office spaces, made available from private property owners.
This is your chance to get into a space and try out your own creative idea. Be a part of the growing Renew movement, revitalising our towns and promoting the local economy, as well as arts and cultures and creative industries across Australia.
We are seeking creative or home-based businesses including:
- laptop businesses
- video or music makers
- and other creative types
