Draft Eurobodalla Flying-fox Management Plan

Closing date for submissions: Wednesday 31 October 2018

We are seeking your comments on the draft Eurobodalla Flying-fox Management Plan. If adopted, the shire-wide Flying-Fox Management Plan (FFMP) will provide a framework for how we can best support residents who may be impacted by flying-foxes in the future.

Extensive effort was made to engage with the community and key stakeholders during the draft Plan’s development. Engagement ensured the values of the community were considered and the concerns of people directly impacted addressed. Community feedback was used to inform the draft Plan including consideration of management options and the decision support tool.

More information about flying-foxes can be found on Council’s website.

What happens next?

Council will consider all submissions to the draft Eurobodalla Flying-fox Management Plan and make a decision about whether to adopt the Plan at a Council meeting.
