Resourcing Options Paper

The Resourcing Options Paper provides information about the resources required by Council to maintain the Shire’s existing infrastructure, services and facilities and to provide new enhanced facilities. Council is seeking public in put on the options for funding these, inlcuding two different rate increases.

Council is seeking public input to the Resourcing Options it has.

The results will help Council understand resident and ratepayers' opinions on how it should fund its obligations in the community strategic plan for the next 10 years.

It will use this information to make decisions for the whole community including for future generations, and decide the level of rates that may be required to achieve its plans. This will in turn shape Council's next four year Delivery Program.

There will then be another opportunity for members of the community to read and comment on those decisions in May 2012, when the four year Draft Delivery Program 2012-2016 is placed on public exhibition.
