This section contains draft publications, which are on exhibition for a pre-determined number of days and draft plans / strategies that are yet to be adopted by council. Council welcomes input from the community about these draft plans and strategies.

Submissions should be made by the closing date indicated using one of the methods listed below.

Draft Positive Ageing Strategy

Community input to the draft Positive Ageing Strategy is being sought by Council who will use the document to prepare the Shire for the increase in numbers of older people and to advocate with the NSW Government to meet their needs.

The draft Positive Ageing Strategy is a document that recognises the valuable contribution seniors make to the community and will be on public exhibition for 28 days from 1 October 2009.

Appendices including a demographic profile, population forecasts and results from various community consultations are available for viewing from the Reports Section under Publications on this web site.

The draft Positive Ageing Strategy is also available for viewing in hard copy at shire libraries and Council's Administration Building.
