Eurobodalla Coastal Environmental Capacity Planning

Executive Summary
This project was funded under Natural Heritage Trust, Coast and Clean Seas, Marine Planning Program. The project looks strategically at rural areas, particularly Rural Smallholding 1(c) zones in the catchments of vulnerable lakes and lagoons. The results will be enacted in a review of Council's Rural Local Environment Plan. This will incorporate conclusions about vulnerability and capacity of catchments, estuaries, coastal lagoons and wetlands.

The outcomes for Local Government include improved planning for biodiversity and landscape ecology. A new focus for Landcare activities on wildlife linkage restoration and improvement of vulnerable forest ecosystems is likely.
