Are you an Odd or an Even?
Level 2 Water Restrictions only allows for household watering under an 'odds and evens' system.
So how does the 'odds and evens' system work?
If your street address is an odd number eg 3, 9, 25 etc, then you can only water on odd numbered calendar days eg 5th, 13th, 29th etc. If your street number is even you can only water on even numbered days.
If you live in a unit, then it is your street number that counts, not your unit number.
REMEMBER:
The following practices can only be done under an 'odds & evens' system and only between the hours of 6-8am and 6-8pm during daylight savings or between 6-9am OR 4-7pm outside of daylight savings:
-
Watering gardens and lawns with either one hand held hose OR one drip irrigation system.
-
Topping up/filling swimming pools using hand-held hose.
-
Washing private vehicles (inc. boats & motor flushing) on grass areas using buckets and a final rinse with a trigger nozzle hose.
