This website is new and we would welcome your feedback. Please let us know if you find any problems navigating through the website or viewing photos, if you notice any omissions of important South Coast weeds or if you find any errors.

To report new outbreaks of noxious weeds contact the Noxious Weeds staff at your local Council, or the Illawarra District Noxious Weeds Authority for residents of Wollongong, Shellharbour and Kiama Local Government Areas. Note that outbreaks of aquatic weeds must be notified in most LGAs. Check each aquatic weed species profile for details of which are notifiable where.

Most of the environmental weeds described on this website are not listed as noxious and your local Council is therefore not provided with funding to control them, much as they might want to do so. If you want to help control environmental weeds on public land contact your nearest Bushcare, Landcare or Dunecare group, or local coordinator.
