Adult Spring Reading Challenge 2023: terms and conditions

The Challenge runs from 1 September to 30 November 2023.

Any entry received after 30 November 2023, 5pm will not be included in the draw.

No responsibility is accepted for late, lost, delayed, or misdirected entries.

Eligibility

To be eligible to enter you must be:

  • aged 18 years or older
  • be a member of Eurobodalla Libraries
  • live in the Eurobodalla Local Government Area.

Council reserves the right to verify your details (including your age and address).

To enter:

  • pick up a Challenge bookmark from your local library
  • read a book and tick off the category on the bookmark that it best fits
  • only one category can be ticked for each book
  • each category must be ticked
  • hand in the bookmark once all categories all ticked.

The prize

Entries that meet the requirements will be included in the draw to win a 2023 Adult Spring Reading Challenge Prize valued at $150.

The selection

The draw will take place on 1 December 2023.

Council will notify the winner via telephone or email.

Council will confirm that the winner is a library member and currently resides in the Eurobodalla Local Government Area. If they are not, Council will redraw the winner and repeat the process.

The winner must collect the prize in person from a Eurobodalla Libraries branch.

Your attendance at the prize collection at Eurobodalla Libraries may be digitally recorded through photographs and/or video recordings. Images may be used for promotional purposes on council’s websites, publications, social media or by newspapers.

By attending to collect your prize, you agree to these terms.
