Ancestry library edition
Ancestry is the world's largest database for researching family history. It provides access to over 4,000 databases for genealogical and historical research.
Usually only accessible from our library branches, for a limited time our Ancestry Library Edition account is available to access from home.
To get started:
1. Log in to your library account with your user ID and password.
(Your user ID is your membership number located on your library card starting with a capital E and the default password is your date of birth in DDMMYYYY format).
2. Once logged in click on the Ancestry.com link found in the menu to the left of screen.

Australia Remembers has created personalised and individualised online digital Anzac Journals for Gallipoli and World War One Anzac and Veterans who served in World War Two. These Anzac & Veteran Journals are dedicated personally to the sacred memory of each individual Anzac and Veteran who served. Journals along with Anzac and Veteran profiles can be searched and viewed on the Australia Remembers website.

Australian/New Zealand Reference Centre offers magazines and newspaper articles on topics including health, current affairs, science, social science, business and literature. It contains 35,000 full-text biographies, 10,000 images and 1,000 maps.
Consumer health complete
Consumer Health Complete is a comprehensive database for material about consumer-oriented health. It contains resources on all areas of health and wellbeing. Topics include mainstream medicine, complementary, holistic and integrated medicine.
Drug Info offers free plain English information about drugs and alcohol, including the online book A quick guide to drugs and alcohol.
Find Legal Answers
Find Legal Answers provides access to free plain English information about the law, including online books such as the law handbook and Neighbours and the law.
GreenFILE database includes resources about the impact individuals, corporations and governments have on the environment. Topics include global climate change, green building, pollution, sustainable agriculture, renewable energy and recycling.
Hobbies and Craft Reference Center
Hobbies and Craft Reference Centre offers detailed instructions and creative ideas to meet the interests of virtually every hobby enthusiast. Full text is provided from leading hobby and craft magazines including Bead & Button, Creative Knitting, FineScale Modeler, Quilter's World and many more.
Literary reference center plus
Literary Reference Center Plus contains thousands of full text literature resources. Texts include plot summaries, author biographies and interviews, journal articles, book reviews and literary critiques, poems, short stories, and classic texts.

MasterFILE Complete contains more than 2,100 full-text publications dating as far back as 1975. It covers a wide range of general interest subjects and includes reference books, biographies, primary source documents, photos, maps and flags.
NoveList Plus can help you find your next book to read. The database has information about 135,000 fiction and non-fiction titles, as well as over 400 discussion guides for book groups.
You can search for information by author, title or series, as well as find lists of award-winning books.

Australian/New Zealand points of view reference is a database of full-text essays that present different perspectives on current issues, as well as guides for developing arguments and debating.
Essays topics include cloning, DNA profiling, stem cell research, nuclear power, immigration, voting and many more scientific and social issues.

It provides access to resources from the National Library, State Libraries and over 1,000 other libraries all over Australia. You can search for books, newspapers, journals, diaries, letters, theses, maps, photos and music.
