Dragon boating
Try this exciting team sport for ages 12+. Dragon Boating involves two people sitting per seat in the boat, facing forwards and paddling in sync. A sweep/steer person navigates the back of the boat. Paddlers need to wear light clothing, footwear that may get wet, a hat, sunscreen and bring along a water bottle. Sessions last approximately one hour.

When: Tuesdays from 1:30pm, Thursdays from 4:30pm and Saturdays from 8:30am
Cost: Live Life members can try three paddles free of charge. If participants would like to continue on they need to pay an annual club membership fee of $75 plus $120 mandatory annual registration with Dragon Boating NSW for insurance purposes. Members will receive a club shirt and cap.

Where: Nature Coast Dragon Boat Club, Moruya River, meet at the boat shed next to Moruya Swimming Pool.
When: Tuesdays 5.15-6.30pm and Saturdays 8.15-9.30am.
Cost: Give dragon boat racing a try with the first five paddles free of charge. The club supply life jackets, paddles and coaching. The annual membership fee, which cover insurance and allows participation at regattas is $180 for adults and $75 for paddlers aged 12 to 18 years.

Batemans Bay Bushwalkers
Join the Batemans Bay Bushwalkers on easy to intense walks through beautiful local bushland.

Eurobodalla Walkers
Come on a weekly 1-2 hour outdoor walk with the group. Walks go ahead in all types of weather, and take place all over Eurobodalla, from North Durras to Narooma.

Dalmeny Narooma Bushwalkers
Join the Dalmeny Narooma Bushwalkers on walks of different intensities.
When: two walks a week from March to November, one walk a week during February, contact club to find out where and when the next walk is.

Stretch your legs and fit some light exercise in to your day by following one of these easy trails around Eurobodalla's town centres. Each walk/run takes between half an hour to two hours to complete depending on your pace.
Mill Bay Boardwalk, Narooma
Take a stroll and breathe in the fresh sea air along Narooma's scenic boardwalk. Begin the walk from Apex Park (on the northern side of the inlet) following the boardwalk towards the bridge. Look out for large schools of fish and stingrays as you walk. Continue over the bridge making your way along Riverside Drive past mangroves, eateries and cafés or follow the foreshore in front of the caravan park past the jetty to Rotary Park. Your final destination is Australia Rock and the breakwall at the Wagonga Inlet entrance.

- Time: 30 minutes to 2 hours
- Grade: Easy, level and wheelchair access on the boardwalk

Historic Town Walk, Bodalla
Beginning at the All Saints Church, continue south past the Bodalla Cottage, memorial hall, bakery, post office and on to the old police station where you cross over the highway to the fire shed. Continue south and turn down Sutcliffe Street. At the old Bodalla School follow the street north passing the Uniting Church, Stone Shed and complete the walk at Bodalla Pub.

Moruya River Foreshore Walk, Moruya
Begin your walk between the giant elms at Moruya’s Riverside Park. Head east along the dirt road that winds between the Casuarinas along the riverbank until the turnaround point at Racecourse Creek.

- Time: 45 minutes
- Grade: Easy, level, dirt trail
- Start: Riverside Park, Shore Street, Moruya

Batemans Bay CBD to Observation Point, Batehaven
Follow the promenade footpath along the Clyde River past the local restaurants and cafes toward Beach Road. Head South at Beach Road towards Batemans Bay Marina passing award-winning artwork from the annual Sculpture for Clyde competition. Continue along Beach Road toward Hanging Rock Recreation Area and Birdland Animal Park. Pass Joe’s Creek before returning to the foreshore at Corrigans Beach Reserve. At the southern end of Corrigan's Beach a staircase leads to Observation Point Lookout, which offers an impressive panorama looking out across Snapper Islands and Batemans Bay Marine Park.

Cullendulla Mangrove Walk
This walk winds through the Marine Park Sanctuary Zone via the beach, boardwalk and dirt track and features informative signage to learn about the surrounding pristine mangrove area.

- Grade: Easy, level, beach, boardwalk and dirt track

Scottish dancing
Join in a social dance performed in a group to Scottish country music. Scottish Country Dancing involves dancing in formations arranged in unique sequences. Practicing the various jigs, reels and strathspeys can be helpful improving memory, balance, coordination and aerobic fitness. It can be quite a workout, so a pre-class warm-up and stretching after class is highly recommended. Wear comfortable shoes with a non-slip sole. No partner necessary.

If you are a local community group, business or individual running a healthy community activity in Eurobodalla, you can submit your activity for inclusion in our quarterly Live Life activity calendar.
To be eligible, organisations and businesses must:
- hold current Public Liability Insurance to the value of $20,000,000
- complete a risk assessment for your activity, and
- ensure all instructors hold relevant qualifications.
We aim to promote activities that are available across Eurobodalla, however priority will be given to activities that are low cost and offer subsidies to subscribers of the Live Life activity calendar.
