Facility rebuild update 14 September 2020
Batemans Bay OOSH centre was destroyed by fire on 25 December 2019. But there’s no stopping the OOSHIES! Batemans Bay OOSH continues to operate out of the temporary facility at Batemans Bay Public School, with the aim of having a modern facility in place by the December 2020 school holidays.
After consulting with families, staff and the school to ensure our new facility is built to meet community need, we are now working with the Department of Education to finalise plans with our preferred contractor and submit the development application.
Since the fire, we’ve had lots of lovely people asking if we need donations. We do, however donations of cash or gift vouchers are preferred as we have no storage for donated goods. If you would like to make a donation please contact the Children's Services team for further details.
