Our libraries at Batemans Bay, Moruya and Narooma are free to join for people who live, work or study in Eurobodalla.

Libraries are open

Following the recent closure as a COVID-19 safety measure, we're pleased to welcome our customers back to the libraries.


Please follow these rules when visiting the libraries:

  • visitor numbers are limited to 15 patrons at a time.
  • visits are limited to a maximum of 30 minutes.
  • maintain a distance of 1.5 metres from other library visitors and staff, please come on your own or in small groups only.
  • library members must scan their membership card at front desk upon entry. Non-members will need to provide identification and contact details. Confidential records will be kept 28 days for COVID-19 contract tracing.
  • return all items via the after-hours chute outside the library entry doors. Staff will not accept returns over the counter. No donations will be accepted.
  • minmise handling books when browsing.
  • children must be supervised by a parent or care giver at all times to ensure they also follow social distancing and hygiene measures.

For everyone's safety:

  • hand sanitiser is available for customers on entry.
  • returned items will be quarantined and unavailable for loan for 72 hours.
  • a reduced number of computers spaced 1.5 metres apart are available for use for a maximum of 30 minutes. Sanitary wipes are available for users to clean the keyboard and mouse before each use.
  • printing, photocopying and scanning are available, with payment by card only (no cash).
  • our click and collect (takeaway) service is available as a fast and easy pickup option.

Library members can borrow e-books and e-audiobooks on their mobile devices. Borrowing books has never been so easy!

Access electronic resources for a wide range of information on hobbies, science, genealogy and more. Use your library membership ID to log in and your date of birth as the password.
