Eurobodalla Shire Council has five sewage treatment plants that operate under environmental licenses, and provide water saving programs and incentives to help water customers save water and money.

Recycling and green waste

Council’s Waste Services provide residents in the domestic collection area with fortnightly recycling and garden organics bin collection, as well as annual hard waste and chemical cleanout services.

Waste management facilities

Council operates two waste management facilities at Surf Beach and Brou, and a transfer station at Moruya. Each facility accepts general and green waste and recycling.

Council has a three bin system,  collecting waste every week, and recycling and garden organics every fortnight from Eurobodalla residents within our domestic collection area.

Council monitors illegal dumping in Eurobodalla. Penalties for illegal dumping range from $250 for littering and up to $1 million for corporations illegally disposing of waste.
