Waste management facilities

Council has three waste management facilities: Surf Beach Waste Management Facility, Brou Waste Management Facility and Moruya Transfer Station.

All three facilities accept solid waste. Fees apply at all sites, and limits apply at Moruya Transfer Station.

Waste management facilities closed to the public

To help everyone carry out effective social distancing in response to the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic, Council's waste management facilities will be closed to the public from Sunday 29 March 2020. Moruya tip remains closed due to bushfire damage, but will reopen with extended hours from Monday 6 April.

Council will continue to monitor advice from government health authorities and we will review our operations in line with that evolving advice.
