Temporary road closures

Temporary road closures allow road works or community events to be conducted safely. While the road is closed, motorists and pedestrians must follow the directions of authorised traffic controllers.

Road closures may be affected by weather conditions or bush fire.

Scheduled road closures

Bowen Street, Narooma

  • 7am to 4pm weekdays, 3 February to 27 March 2020

Bowen Street will be closed between Club Narooma and the upper car park. Commuters will need to use the Princes Highway to access either end of Bowen Street.

The road will be open outside of working hours.

The closure will allow rebuilding of the road.

Congo Road, Congo

  • 7am to 4pm weekdays, 10 February to 24 April 2020

The 1km section Congo Road south of the village will be closed. Commuters will need to use the northern route to access Congo/Princes Highway.

School buses will be permitted to travel through the work site at their usual times.

Congo Road will be open outside of working hours.

The closure will allow reconstruction and sealing of the road.

Trafalgar Road, Tuross Head

  • 7am to 4pm weekdays, 17 February to 8 May 2020

Trafalgar Road will be closed between Hood Crescent and Jutland Avenue. Detours will be in place.

Residents in the affected area will be able to access their properties.

The road will be open outside of working hours.

The closure will allow rebuilding of the road.

  • Larrys Mountain Road closed at Clouts Road to Araluen Road
  • Eurobodalla Road from Reedy Creek Road to Murphys Bridge
  • Comans Road, Nerrigundah
  • Belowra Road beyond Belimbla Bridge

Araulen Road between Stewarts Road and Araluen

  • Closed until further notice due to unsafe conditions after the bushfire.
  • Residents permitted.
