Children's Week

Children's Week is celebrated across Australia every October as a way to recognise the right of every child to be healthy, safe and happy.

It's a time for children to demonstrate their talents, skills and abilities. Thousands of children and families will join in activities and events hosted by schools, playgroups, childcare providers, kindergartens, libraries, cultural groups and community groups.

We've organised some fun activities for Eurobodalla kids and families to enjoy during Children's Week, between Saturday 24 October to Sunday 1 November 2020.

Wombat Stew online storytime

Join our Child Development Officer Jenny Hogg for an online reading of the classic Australian children's book 'Wombat Stew'.

Open Arms young parents group | Batehaven

Meet other young parents in Eurobodalla while the kids enjoy art and craft time. Open Arms is a small supportive group that meet three times a month.

Parenting grandparents support group | Mossy Point

Parenting grandparents are invited to come together each month to share experiences, find support and connect with others in a relaxed and safe environment.
