Council currently offers the following grant programs:
Mayoral grants up to $750 are available throughout the year to Eurobodalla residents, community groups, schools and non-profit organisations where the outcome is likely to enhance the shire's social, recreational and cultural wealth. Applications now open.
Council will consider a grant to local schools and education establishments for annual academic or other achievement awards or contributions toward annual scholarships offered by universities and other institutions. Applications now open.
Each year we invite not-for-profit community groups that are working hard to improve the health and wellbeing of local people to apply for grants of up to $500. Applications open later in 2019.
A grant of $2000 will be awarded to the school deemed to have best demonstrated proactive actions, education, systems, infrastructure and leadership in environmental matters. The funds can be used for environmental projects or infrastructure in 2020.
This annual grant program provides financial assistance to owners of heritage buildings in Eurobodalla, aimed at encouraging the conservation of heritage items identified in the Eurobodalla Local Environmental Plans. Applications are currently closed.
NAIDOC (National Aboriginal and Islander Day Observance Committee) Week Activity Grants of up to $500 are offered annually to community groups, schools and non-profit organisations. Grants must be used for activities that help celebrate NAIDOC Week. Applications open early in 2020.
Four-yearly grants are available to Eurobodalla based safety and emergency services organisations to assist with the operational costs of providing their services to our community. Applications are currently closed.
Each year, Council offers youth development grants of up to $500 to develop projects which show evidence of tangible benefits to youth of Eurobodalla. Applications open in April 2020.
