Wattle Walk knit-in I Moruya

Where: Moruya Library, Vulcan Street, Moruya

When: Thursdays in June, July, and August

Cost: Free. All materials supplied.

Come to a 'knit-in' and make wattle branches to be a part of a community project celebrating the resilience of our community.

The UOW Batemans Bay Campus is calling on members of the community to knit wattle branches adorned with yellow pom poms as a part of their Wattle Walk Community Project.

The handmade branches will be used in an outdoor display at the Eurobodalla Regional Botanic Garden from Friday 17 to Sunday 26 September as a part of the River of Art.

The sea of knitted wattles will aim to recognise the resilience of our local community and the tireless efforts of the NSW RFS.
