People whose homes were destroyed or significantly damaged in the 2019/20 bushfires can apply for a Development Application fee rebate up to $1,000.
Eurobodalla Disaster Relief Fund
This charitable fund aims to support Eurobodalla residents, businesses, and communities impacted by the 2019/20 bushfires.
Grants up to $750 are open to residents, groups, schools and non-profits for outcomes that enhance the shire's social, recreational and cultural wealth. Applications always open.
Eurobodalla Schools Learning for Life Award
A grant of $2000 will be awarded to a school with demonstrated proactive environmental actions to use for environmental projects or infrastructure. Nominations are open, closing on Friday 8 October, 4pm.
In November 2019, the community helped raise funds for farmers affected by drought. The Eurobodalla Disaster Relief Committee distributed the remaining funds to residents who undertake farming activities. Applications have been extended until Wednesday 30 June 2021, 5pm.
Tourism Events Sponsorship Program
Tourism events sponsorship is available to support events that attract visitation from outside Eurobodalla, driving economic development. Applications for Round 2 will open in August 2021.
Community Events Grant
Grants available twice a year to support local event organisers to deliver a community event that celebrates the cultural and social life of our community. Applications are currently closed.
Education and School Grants
Local schools and education establishments can apply for this grant to use for academic or achievement awards or contributions toward annual scholarships offered by universities and other institutions. Applications are closed.
Seniors' Festival Grant
Not-for-profit community groups hosting a Seniors' Festival event or activity can apply for grants up to $500 to assist with their running costs. Applications currently closed.
Youth Development Grants
Council offers youth development grants of up to $500 for projects that benefit young people from Eurobodalla. Applications for 2021 are now closed.
NAIDOC Week activity grants
Grants of up to $500 are offered annually to community groups, schools and non-profits for activities that help celebrate NAIDOC Week. Applications for 2021 are now closed.
Local Heritage Grants
This annual grant program provides financial assistance to owners of heritage buildings in Eurobodalla to assist with conservation works to enhance places, buildings and historic streetscapes. Applications are currently closed.
Healthy Communities and Recovery Grant
Not-for-profit community groups working hard to improve the health and wellbeing of community members can apply for grants from $500 to $2000. Applications closed.
