Community Transport
Community Transport provides transport to older people, people with disability, people who are transport disadvantaged, and their carers.
- Transport services are available weekdays from 8.30am to 4pm (excluding public holidays).
- Our volunteer drivers provide personalised door-to-door service.
- We provide local trips and long distance trips to Canberra, Nowra, and Bega.
- To use the service, you must first register as a Community Transport client.
We provide transport to help our clients:
- go shopping
- attend medical appointments
- take part in social and recreational activities.
To use the service, clients must:
- live in Eurobodalla
- be able to get in and out of a car or mini-bus with limited assistance
- manage appointments and shopping independently
- book your trip with at least one week's notice.
To help coordinate transport, at times you may need to negotiate a change in appointment date or time or share transport with other clients.
- Fees are kept to a minimum as our funding does not cover all transport expenses.
- All fees collected go towards providing more trips.
- Clients will not be denied service if they are unable to pay.
- Contact us for a fee schedule.
Register as a client
To use Community Transport, please register as a client by completing our registration form. Once you have registered, we can then start arranging your trips!
Volunteer as a driver
Community Transport volunteers drive our clients long and short distances to help them travel to and from important appointments.
Our volunteers make this service possible, and we are always looking for new volunteers.
Volunteer drivers must have a valid license, and enjoy helping people.
