Branch with wattle leaves and flowers

Knitters wanted

The University of Wollongong Batemans Bay Campus is calling on members of the community to knit wattle branches adorned with yellow pom poms. These branches will then be used in an outdoor display at the Eurobodalla Regional Botanic Gardens.

On display from Friday 17 to Sunday 26 September, this sea of knitted wattles aims to recognise the resilience of our local community and the tireless efforts of the NSW RFS.

Pick up a hardcopy of the wattle knitting pattern from Batemans Bay, Moruya and Narooma Library or download a digital copy.

Drop the completed branches off at the library when you're done.
