Adopting a microchipped animal from the shelter is $62.
If you need to surrender a pet
If you can no longer house or care for your pet, ie, your living circumstances have changed or you have fallen ill, you should rehome your pet. We encourage you to find new owners or surrender your pet to the Animal Welfare League or RSPCA.
If you can't find a new home for your pet and have tried all available options, we may accept the animal under certain circumstances. Please contact our rangers to discuss the option of surrendering your animal to the shelter. You will need to pay a fee so that we can rehome your pet.
