The Eurobodalla Preparedness Guide hits residents’ mailboxes next week.

Spearheaded by locals Von Hutcheson and Sandra Makdessi, the initiative by Southcoast Health and Sustainability Alliance and Anglicare was created with input from community members and experts.

The fold-out guide is a one-stop primer for emergency preparedness, with all the checklists, resources and contacts required to get your household ready ahead of natural disaster.

Eurobodalla Mayor Mathew Hatcher congratulates the guide’s creators and facilitators.

“This excellent reference will be a boon to residents, ensuring they and their families, neighbours, friends and homes are set up to weather all kinds of adverse events. My copy is already on the fridge door,” he says.

“I’m proud Council was able to contribute to the guide by covering the cost of distribution to households.”

Australia Post will deliver the Eurobodalla Preparedness Guide from Monday 10 November 2025 – keep an eye on your letterbox.
