Council offers a wide range of fun, interactive preschool education programs, workshops and activities in Eurobodalla.
These programs listed are just a sample of what is available for your students. If you have a specific topic or interest you would like to cover, get in touch with us to see how we can help.
Programs for preschools
What goes in the bin
‘What goes in the bin’ is an interactive activity where children bid for a particular item to go in their bin. Bin covers are used as costumes, and recycling items, soft plastics and other items are used so that children learn which items go in each of the three household waste coloured bins.
What do we need water for?
‘What do we need water for?’ is a puzzle game that groups of children put together to see how water is used in the home and garden.
Compost critters is an outdoor activity designed to encourage children to learn about some of the great little critters that thrive in our soils and play an important role in our environment.
Hands-on activities and workshops
We also offer:
- assistance to preschools to establish and harvest compost
- activities about recycling and water use at preschools by conducting hands-on workshops designed for children and their carers.
