The Eurobodalla Business Awards are back, with entries open until Sunday 19 May.

Whether you’re a startup, small business or large organisation, Eurobodalla Mayor Mathew Hatcher encouraged locals to enter.

“It’s important we celebrate achievements in our business sector to inspire others to continue to grow Eurobodalla’s economy,” Mayor Hatcher said.

“By nominating yourself for a business award, you're not just celebrating your success, but also inspiring others.

“It’s an easy online form to enter, just fill out your business and contact details and outline any achievements or challenges you’ve overcome.”

Mayor Hatcher said the popular People’s Choice award was also included among this year’s categories.

“Anyone can nominate their favourite business, community group, non-profit or sporting group,” Mayor Hatcher said.

“There are eight different categories to recognise individual or business accomplishments. All entries will be put forward to a panel of expert judges.”

Award categories include:

• Outstanding Employee
• Outstanding Young Business Leader
• Excellence in Sustainability
• Outstanding Community Organisation
• Outstanding Visitor Experience
• Outstanding New Business
• Excellence in Diversity and Inclusion
• People’s Choice

Winners will be announced at a gala ceremony at the Bay Pavilions on Saturday 20 July. To find out more about the awards visit Council’s what’s on page.

Eurobodalla finalists of select categories will qualify for the regional awards, with the chance for further recognition at the state awards later this year. Entries are submitted via a platform online.
