Coastal Hazards Scoping Study
Eurobodalla Shire's coastline stretches nearly 112 kilometres and includes a vast network of estuaries, beaches, and lagoons.
The Draft Eurobodalla Coastal Hazards Scoping Study (the study) identified areas in Eurobodalla that are most at risk from coastal hazards, including sea level rise, and require a management response in our coastal management program. The recommendations provided in the study helped Council to:
- secure grant funding from the NSW Government to develop a comprehensive coastal management plan
- prioritise its future coastal management strategies and plans.
Council adopted the Draft Eurobodalla Coastal Hazards Scoping Study in January 2011.
