The funding is for community groups, schools and not-for-profits looking to run activities and events that make a positive contribution to the community with creativity, vision and originality during the July celebration.

Grants have previously been awarded for Aboriginal flag-raising ceremonies, story-telling activities, sports and games, cultural artefact displays, language programs, art and craft demonstrations, bush tucker gardens, and murals.

Applications close 17 March and successful applicants will be notified in May. For more information visit Council’s NAIDOC Week activity grants webpage.
