Apply now for community grants

Grants of between $500 and $2,000 are available to help not-for-profits run activities supporting the Eurobodalla community.

Eurobodalla Council has opened applications for four separate funding programs; Healthy Communities and Recovery Grants for activities improving health and wellbeing; Seniors Week Grants for activities and events during the annual festival; Youth Development Grants for projects that benefit local youth; and NAIDOC Week Grants, to go toward NAIDOC Week celebrations.

The grants are open to community groups, schools and other not-for-profit organisations who can demonstrate they are either incorporated or a legitimate Eurobodalla-based community group.

Council’s community development coordinator Zoe Morgan said previous funded initiatives included leadership and training opportunities, luncheons, community gardens, come-and-try days, equipment repairs, events resources, support for volunteers, and more.

“These grants are about supporting our community to turn their wonderful ideas into a reality and in turn help improve residents’ health, wellbeing and cultural awareness,” Ms Morgan said.

“We’ve supported so many great initiatives over the years and we’re looking forward to seeing what’s planned for 2022 to help keep our community connected.”

Applications close Wednesday 19 January 2022.
