Join us for a special National Reconciliation Week screening of Warlpiri matriarch, Audrey Napanangka.
Living in Alice Springs (Mparntwe), Audrey and her partner Santo Giardina have cared for many children. This story of love and survival highlights an extraordinary inter-generational family. As an Indigenous woman, Audrey faces the loss of her homeland and its deep connections to nature, traditional living, law, and community.
Audrey weaves her cultural knowledge, language, and law into the lives of those she cares for, ensuring they are well-prepared for today's complex world.
Enjoy the film, light refreshments, and a chat afterwards.
