Clothing/textiles recycling
Free textiles drop off postponed from 10 January 2025
- The free textiles drop-off program has been postponed due to our partnership with Upcycle 4 Better ceasing.
- We are working on an alternate solution to keep textiles out of landfill.
- Council has previously partnered with Upcycle 4 Better to drop-off textiles for free. This agreement has been cancelled.
- Any textiles dropped off at Council's waste facilities will incur a charge and will be going to landfill and not sent to be reused or recycled until we can find a solution.
