More works for Clyde Street

Published: 19 May 2021

The recreation space on Batemans Bay’s Clyde Street west of the new bridge is set to be improved thanks to funding from Transport for NSW and Council.

New kerb and guttering will be installed on the western side of the boat ramp car park to replace the damaged edge strip and a new path along the foreshore will link the area to the CBD.

A new water main – funded by Eurobodalla Council - will also be installed as part of a wider project to improve the Batemans Bay CBD’s water and sewer network.

Advanced native Blueberry Ash trees will be planted to replace the existing trees, which are scheduled to be removed next week, to prevent further damage to infrastructure and remove trip hazards.

The new trees will be planted further away from the infrastructure.
