Council welcomes comments from the community about the release of the Moruya Airport terminal – future vision and concept. This concept design is to help shape the future vision of the Moruya Airport terminal.

Following interactive group sessions held in December 2023 with stakeholders and users of the Moruya Airport, STEA Astute Architecture have drafted concept drawings and expansion plans for the future terminal building, incorporating the ideas and suggestions of the group.

The concept drawings will lead to detail designs, that will be used to prepare a development application for a new terminal during the future development of the airport precinct.

The future terminal will be required when increased passenger and aircraft volumes require additional space and the existing terminal can no longer accommodate passenger processing needs.

Having a development application ready plan will assist in attracting funding for a new terminal when it is required.
