Sports grounds and courts

If you represent a sporting club, we can help you reserve facilities for regular training and competition matches, under Council's seasonal hire policy and code of practice. Once you have registered for an account on Council's online booking system, you can apply for seasonal hire.

Council's online booking system is live for regular and seasonal hire. For special events like carnivals or tournaments, you can add these dates to your online bookings.

If you are a casual hirer and your booking is required before Wednesday 1 March 2023, please browse the online system and call the Booking Office with your request.

Captain Oldrey Park in Broulee is home to Eurobodalla’s regional netball facility.

The eight synthetic courts including two dual-use netball/basketball courts, amenities building, spectator viewing, and surrounds have all had a major upgrade in 2021

The netball court at Bill Smyth Oval in Narooma will be upgraded before the end of the year, when we will be relocating the court closer to the amenities building. The new synthetic court will have fencing and lighting. We will be restoring the existing court site as a green space, including some revegetation and signage recognising the adjoining Aboriginal Heritage Conservation Area.

Fees

Fees are standard across all Council managed tennis courts.

• Casual hire: $18.00 per hour per court (with lights $22.00)
• Member fee: $11.00 per hour per court (with lights $15.00)
• Commercial fee: $9.00 per hour per court (with lights $14.00)
• School groups: $1.70 per student per school sporting session
• Junior tournament: $2.30 per player (with lights $4.60)
• Senior tournament: $4.60 per player (with lights $6.80)
